Great printer, prints fast, low ink consumption, and very good quality. Only problem is I need to shut it off and reboot it to reconnect to my network.

Solid home printer with 1 little quirk

Like all products I've purchased from Epson, this Workforce 3640 is solidly built and has more than enough features for the price! We bought this to replace our aging Laserjet 5000, and here's what I think:
Pros: - Wifi/Mobile phone compatible - Easy setup on Mac and PC - Quick startup and printing - Built in Duplexer - All-in-one (Print, Copy, Scan, Fax)
Cons: - Frequent head cleanings to remove lines - UI is a little advanced, but easy enough to use
Summary: All in all, this is the perfect printer to get for a home office or small business due to the incredible amount of features it offers for the price. The ink levels haven't even gone down yet, and it's our second week! The only issue is that every few days, there are noticeable yellow lines spanning across any printout, and the head cleanings that resolve this problem usually take 5-10 minutes. Other than that, this is a great printer that's worth the money.

Great Printer, Scanner and Copier

My entire family uses our Epson WF- 3640. For work items, travel docs, school assignments, crafts. We hav gotten great use out of it. Downside is the ink is expensive. But it prints, copies and scans well and is compatible with all our computers and devices.

not a bad investment, BUT it prints the last page of something first! Why is that?

My second Workforce printer

This printer replaced a WF-3540 which I used for several years. Always makes great images; scanner easy to use. My only complaint is the wireless connection - had the same problem with the previous printer. I set up the connection with my wireless network and everything works fine for a while: can even print from the living room up to the office. Then, for no apparent reason, the printer no longer talks to the router, even though all the other devices on the network are working fine. Spend considerable time entering my 16-character modem passcode over and over and going through all the other steps to reconnect to no avail. Finally I have given up and just use the USB cable.

Dissapointment with the first one. WF-3640

The first WF-3640 worked great until the temporary ink cartridges ran out. we had bought extra's at time of printer purchase. the printer did not like the new cartridges and nothing bout trouble since. We resorted to using Black and white as it was the only way we could use the thing. then we started getting various error codes. and finally the dreaded 0x9A code. Printer no workie after that. Called Epson support and they could not fix it, but alas they were willing to send us a Brand new one at no cost! Wow, was I surprised. It was 1 1/2 year old and out of warranty. gues we will give this one a chance since it was replaced for free. Great customer service!!

Epson WF-3640

I've only had this printer for a short time; so far, I like it. It's fast. Quality of pull-out trays is better than previous models I've had. The set-up was very easy, with no issues even tho I was in/out of the room, interrupted often. The Epson iPrint photo from my iPhone app popped out with beautiful, rich color. I had a few problems with a custom-sized print-out; the tray wouldn't size to a 6.5 x 4.5" paper. It does 4 x 6 photos no problem - it was just the custom size. I did solve the problem by going to 6.5 x 5.5" and trimming.
