This is my 3rd printer in one year. First the automatic document feeder didn't work. Then I had a system error. It was replaced with a refurbished printer. Hope it works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Set-Up Review

My review is regarding set-up only. That is all I have done so far. I have been reading reviews for several months regarding the WorkForce 3640, and my hesitancy in purchasing it was because of the set-up concerns. (I have used Epson in the past ... and knew their reputation for print quality was well-deserved.) The reviews had put a little fear into me because I am not a techy ... just a simple senior citizen homemaker. I followed the instructions carefully and slowly ... and all of my set-up concerns evaporated. The instructions were clear. I was concerned the cartridges may not have been inserted property, so before putting them in, I went to the Epson.com/support site to double check the online guide. There is a place on each cartridge at the top that says "push here," and that is all I needed to do once they were set in place ... inserting them straight into their location. I have to say I love the menu screen. I had to go in and correct a set-up error I made when I entered how I wanted the time to read. I found the instructions I needed in the on-line guide and the menu screen on the printer was so simple to follow. So ... right now ... I am a very happy camper. :)

Epson WF-3640

After setting up the WF-3640 all in one printer I found the intial configurating somewhat complicated and had to go through the steps a second time. However, now that it is ready to go I find it easy to prepare and set preferrences for all of my documents. Its high quality performance is has already increased business productivity. Thank you Epson.

Beware Horrible Install on WIN 10 64

This 3640 is a replacement for a WF 600 I've had going on about 8 years.
First off the printer looks great, has all the bells and whistles I wanted and everything was in great shape. Everything went well...UNTIL...the provided drivers ensured it took me two days, four separate installs and removals with three, yes three different Epson install packages, about 6 hours, to get it to install. This is probably a WIN 10 issue, but my computer couldn't see it until I gave it the IP address, and then it would lose it right about the time the install was just about finished.
Oh...it was another hour to get Adobe XI to correctly recognize the scanner.
Epson...get a good package together with drivers etc. for WIN 10, especially for those of us using 64 bit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This Epson is a great product. It's fast, easy to use, great print quality, just a good workhorse of a multifunction machine.
I would recommend it to anyone at this price. The phone support to set it up was awesome. I could not have done it without them.
