Great in theory

When this machine is working, it is wonderful. Paper handling is good. Images are crisp. It's great. But I downgrade it because of little things. With a Mac OS the connection for the scanner is inconsistent. My first one arrived and didn't work. It was replaced by Epson on warranty. Ten months in the cyan printer head stopped working. It took hours and a complete ink cycle to test and try to fix it. Eventually Epson replaced it (again). New one has arrived. Again, the print is lovely. Ink is expensive; I sometimes see the whole printer on sale for the price of a full cartridge set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
