Set-up not so easy

Set-up took some time and telephone assistance. By the time it was set up, most of the colored ink was gone (this was the X-Large ink cartridges).

Good Printer

We have used the printer now for about 4 months or so. The printer functions, especially the double sided printing are very helpful. The network setup and other settings are easy and manageable. Have not tried e-Web Print yet. If it works, that will be a great feature.
PROS:
1. Good functions-like the double sided print
2. eWeb print would be great. but have not tried yet
3. Always connected, no network loss

CONS:
1. Quite NOISY. I am sure the engineers can reduce this.
2. Even though the setup is easy, it still requires a reasonable knowledge. it should be so intuitive that does not require second guessing
3. Still not sure why black is a preferred color for the dial etc. Why can they not make white dials with black letters so it is easily visible.

Overall a good improvement, just reduce the noise!

Great printer! Easy to set up; everything worked right off - no chasing around to get it right. Quiet, nice print quality. Really like the automatic 2 - side printing feature and fast print speed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Heavy Drinker of the Ink but does print well.

It is a very high quality machine. It is just like a chevrolet 350 V 8 engine. It runs really smooth, but it drinks a lot of gas to get where you are going. The Ink is to exspensive. Also when working on a wireless network sometimes it has a little lag to get it to start printing. Ounce it starts though it is good quality printing, scanner, and fax. Like I said it just uses a lot of ink and that is not cheap.

When I bought the Epson I was told that it used less ink by far than other printers. It would print more pages per cartridge by 3 times. I have only had the printer in use since September and have already had to by 6 ink cartridges for it, so not very happy about that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This machine has every feature I wanted. In fact this machine is replacing a WorkForce 845 that has given me years of service. Epson products have been great to me.
