Just got this as a Christmas Gift and was really easy to set up and use. So far all I can say is that it performs very well and that it's far better than the other brand that I was using by hp !! Keep up the good work Epson as I am happy with this one !! Thank You and Happy New Year to all !!

So Easy

This printer was the easiest to install of any I have owned over the past 15 yrs. It even found my wireless network, told how to set up the 2 paper cassettes and install the ink cartridges. The instructions are very user-friendly. I was ready to print in less than 30 minutes! My photos print beautifully. After only a few days use with no foul-ups, I would recommend this printer for ease of setup and use, quality of printing and price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Competent, Reliable and Noisy

PROS: Set-up was straightforward, including establishing a wireless network connection. Print quality, especially type, is very good. Two-sided printing in draft mode saves paper and ink. Scanning and copying functions work well, too. I especially like having a dedicated paper tray for 4x6 photo paper. Good build quality with better plastics than I've experienced in the past. A great value! CONS: It's large, not particularly attractive and noisy.

We really like this printer! It was easy to set up with our 3 computers. It prints quickly and both the black/white and color copies are high quality. We also like the 500 sheet paper capacity. Have not used it to scan or print photos yet, but will do so in the near future.

Epson 3640

I had a few problems with the initial screen (language, date, time, etc.) as I made a typo or two and could not get back to the previous screen. Finally said to heck with it. The rest of it was pretty simple.

installation

a bit more complicated on installation than I expected. First print job was a financial document and did not print the extreme right column in its entirety. Not sure why not. Will need to call for further information. Paper appeared to be in right. Hopefully it will live up to the expectation.

I have installed many printers and I must recommend anyone who is not technical to buy the WF-3640 . From out the box to connecting and printing , the entire process took me less than 20 minutes.
Lots fo great features that I am learning about;but for me its perfect.

Just installed my new Epson WF-3640 printer

I just purchased and installed my new wireless printer/MFD this afternoon without any difficulties. I had no difficulties with the setup instructions and steps, and I'm not a techie -- easy and straightforward by simply following the instructions and knowing the basics about home printers.
I haven't actually used the printer for home use yet, so I can't comment on that now.
