Worked as expected for 10 months but scanner automatic document feeder now is picking up more than one piece of paper making it unusable.

Replaced a 10 year old (and very tired) Epson Stylus CX6400 with a new Workforce3640! Delivered in two days (free shipping), un-packed, set up and printed test page (wirelessly) in 45 minutes. Only one hitch in the process that I knew from reading other reviews. The on-line registration card still has not been updated - asks for MM/DD/YYYY and has to be entered DD/MM/YYYY to clear the error message. LOVE my new Epson printer.

Smearing at 4 months

The printer was performing fantastically for about 3 months. For some reason it is smearing several lines (horribly) and the alignment is severely off in some places. It prints fine in draft mode, but the normal mode it doesn't do so well. The color photo that's on the same page looks great. When I looked inside, I cleaned off a lot of black ink off of the guide that the printhead follows along.
I wish that I could attach a picture of the page I printed so that you can see what it's doing. Other than that, I love the scanning, copying, and being able to access the memory slots through the network. The other features are really good too, like printing remotely through the cloud.
I will call customer service soon to see if they can help and maybe I will change my opinion. Hopefully there's a simple solution.

I love my new Epson Workforce WF-3640 printer, I love the fact that its a wireless, although I have it hooked up via USB for now till I get the info I need to go wireless. I was stuck on another brand for a long time, my wife said to give it a try I am glad I did. Printed some pictures on photo paper & it came out looking real good....THANKS Epson

I just bought my Third Epson Printer/Scanner/Fax Multifunction Machine. I had been amazed of the Epson Performance and Cost Efficient Products. Epson always make me deliver professional printing and scanning jobs!
