For the price...

Rated 5 star as the setup was easy and flawless, but then I read the directions first and followed them. Set up on a Win 7 machine using our in home WI-FI.
Scanner seems to work fine. I like the deep paper trays and document feeder features. This is an ideal machine for a home office or just for the fact it offers connectivity and image processing automation.
Replacement ink cartridges are reasonably priced. Hint: buy a complete set of color & black cartridges with the printer. The initial cartridges do not last very long as they are the special primers for the ink jet heads.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just received this printer as a gift. EASY setup. Love the feature of being able to print from a smart phone or remote computer. The first pages that have printed are very clear.
Getting ready to try the scan feature as I scan many photos on a regular basis.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson versus "The Other"

For years I used nothing but a top seller printer 4 in 1. It was not compatible with a lot of programs. I broke through and tried Epson. It seems to be working well and is so easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will not print

My son and I have spent hours trying to get this printer to print and it will not. We followed the directions to the letter and both of us are very computer literate. Back it goes tomorrow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

...This printer as I had been without a printer for quite some time. Just got done setting up which went quite well, despite the fact I could not remember my network password for the life of me.
But got it set up and printed a few pages of movie posters on 8x10 paper. Works great so far. Had a couple of cheap printers in the past and the paper feed always malfunctioned after just a few months. Hopefully I will have better luck with this Epson...I will report back.

Also bought extra ink and it was nice the Epson ink was priced the same as a competitor, but it included all 4 ink cartriges. The other brand you needed to buy the black separately for an extra amount of $$.

Awesome printer

Much better than my previous printer that jammed, broke, kept spitting out blank papers, and the paper tray never would grab multiple sections of paper at a time shooting it on my floor. It was a mess.
I needed a printer that was reliable, ALL if the time. Well, the Epson Workforce has been a dream so far. My prints come out quickly and beautifully everytime, and NOT on my floor. I love the color prints, and the black and white prints.
Best of all, it was economical. It did not break my bank. It wason sale when I got it, and I absolutely fell in love. Thank you Epson for the best printer I have ever owned.
I would recommend this to a friend!
