The WF-3640 replaced an earlier Epson printer and this model is much easier to use and has more functions than the earlier model I had. I like the rear envelope feed and how easy it is to make a two sided copy.
On the bad side, I have to go to the dialog box and select a high standard for printing if I am printing a business letter because I find that the standard print is too light for business purposes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Printer quit working after 2 Weeks. It was on WiFi and all of a sudden, after working OK, it could not be found. I turned WiFi OFF and connected by USB. Setup and Find Printer apps nor the computer could not locate the printer. Tried different ports and cables. Not working. Tried another computer. Same results. Can't seem to find any help from Epson. Shall Return. Must have a bad circuit board.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst Envelope Printer EVER

I have to go to every tab and select envelope, then size, then envelope again, then rear, Then I have to stand there and feed them in 1 at a time. No before clicking on the computer or it jams everything then I have to start all over again. Takes an hour. I so feel like hand writing these addresses or using my Dymo label maker instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The software did the complete setup very smoothly. I felt the printed instructions lacked depth and detail in the drawings.

What A Pain

Very very hard to set up to print with my Samsung tablet. Still not there.
Secondly, it took a few tries for this registration to recognize my serial number.

The Epson WorkForce WF-3640 is the best printer I have ever owned. It is fast and works with out any problems. I do not see myself buying anything but Epson from now on.

easy to install, it recognized my network right away. I do wish they would make installing paper a little easier, at the first time I printed it jammed and it took 5 minuets to clear the jam and refill the tray. It appears to be a heavy ink drinker. With that said it prints, copies and scans perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to Install - Epson WorkForceWF3640

Installing a new printer is not something I look forward to doing...ever....The Espon WorkForce WF3640 was very easy to install, even to my wireless network!
Just make sure you have the USB cable for printers that is not included in the Costco promotion and the fact it is not included is clearly written on the box.
Have fun when you're done.
