Easy Printer Installation

I installed this printer with no problems. The workforce WF-3640 was easy to install and I have windows 10 and it was the easiest printer I have ever installed.

Not the sharpest knife in the Drawer!!!

Epson products years ago. But the challenge with the WF-3640 All in One is how to print an envelope! Even with the manual at my side, it's still a challenge. But then this is the first time in a long while I've had a printer (inexpensive too) that has the capacity of giving me more than I asked for! I'l still need the help of your "support" staff to talk me through it at least once. But I'm still happy with what my printer does and can do!!!

I print occasionally and scan. I purchased the Epson WF-3640 to replace a 12 year old product that I thought did the same thing. When I first printed, I realized that the Epson is fast and quiet, and does not shake the world around it. When I scanned a document for a friend, I told him I would resort the documents so the double-sided would be together for easier manual flipping. Imagine my surprise (ecstasy) when I saw blank pages appearing in the PDF display. Yes, those were the blank backs of the one-sided pages! The machine scans front and back on the same pass. I love my machine!

Learning experience

I am just beyond what you may call a beginner and setting up this printer challenged me severely. But, once I got that done everything else fell into place and I love the capabilities of this machine.

I just installed the Epson utilities for the printer and I must say it is the worst UI I have ever tried to use. Why isn't there a user friendly GUI for the MacBook Air?

The Epson WF-3640 is A great machine. I am impressed with all the features offered for the price. Aren't the ink cartridges a bit pricey though? Causes me a bit of concern here. We'll see. But I have a life's axiom: "..everything in life is a tradeoff..." For the features this might be a tradeoff...We'll see...
