Overall my WF-3640 is a great unit. It can be a little confusing trying to set it up for a specific operation (like double sided printing)
The quality of the print output is superb and the speed of printing is great. My printer is used for personal purposes only but it would be a great printer/copier/fax/scanner for a small office environment I think.
My only real complaint is the cost of ink. The cartridges are expensive to replace.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 9.5 the reason being the cost of ink. Otherwise it would be a 10.

Great printer

I have had this printer for a few months now and it delivers on all features. Even the two sides printing works flawlessly. I have always uses it in wireless connection and that has never failed either. Best printer I have ever owned

Good Product

The printer is very good, just ordered my first ink after getting the printer with ink . I do wish that instead of just the four colors with standard that it came in high yield, One can only get the high by buying the individual inks. That runs into money. In most cases you have to buy all four colors since they all run out at the same time.

Could be better.

My new WF-3640 stopped working after a few weeks. Tech Support was very prompt, very knowledgeable and very professional. I still had the original box and packing material, and I shipped it back. The new unit worked super. Great printing, quick faxing, copying and scanning worked really well.
The replacement arrived very quickly as promised, but it was a refurbished unit. It showed some signs of wear. While it performs all the functions I use, it does not do it as well as the new unit did. It doesn't print as well, it is noisier. Even the little screen is different. But, it works.
I am a bit disappointed at getting a refurbished unit, but it is what it is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT PRINTER

I've had this wonderful printer for perhaps six months and never had a problem. Changing ink cartridges is simple, the printer displays instructions that are simple to follow. The copies are fast and excellent. Highly recommend.

Many issues with this printer

Using the document feeder is a great feature that I make use of consistently, however once the paper runs through and comes back out there is nothing to prevent it from falling off the printer resulting in unorganized papers all over the floor.
After I changed the ink the first time I have had nothing but problems. I have cleaned and aligned over and over and the printing is still off. I purchased new ink and tried again with the same results. Scanning to my computer or a usb drive is a wonderful feature that I also use a lot. After one of the updates it would not scan to my computer then a few months later it started working again. Its an expensive scanner but I am going to have to get something that will actually print out crisp pages.

Convenience and Quality

I love how easy it is to print from my phone wherever I am. I also never knew that my printer would mix other colors to achieve as close to black as possible when I am low on ink....but will still print! Other printers just stop! Not sure how long the cartridges last but I've been using mine since December and its now late April and I do moderate printing. I recommend, quality looks crisp and its a pretty fast printer too. Small business friendly.

Works as advertised. Needed to load software on each computer before it could be used. The mac recognized it's existence but could not print until software was loaded.
