I love this printer. WF 3640 All in one

I love this printer. It does everything I want it to do. It makes great copies. It prints over the WiFi from my Mac beautifully. It scans quickly and easily over the WiFi. I don't have it hooked up as a FAX currently, but that's because I only have cell phones for my telephone lines. A more cumbersome way of FAXing is to scan the document and then send it over the net. That method works great when doing that as well.
I have always been an Epson printer guy. A few years ago, I bought a competitor's printer. I was sorely disappointed. Now I'm back and an Epson man for life. I heartily recommend Epson Printers to everyone. You won't be disappointed.

Good But Could Be Better

The printer is very very good. The pamphlet noting setup and features could and should be expanded to include information to a "new user". Bullet points vs sentences makes it clearer and easy to follow. More information could be shared as to how much paper each tray hold, preferred paper weight, and each printer "icon" what it is used for.

Good Value

I consider the WF-3640 to be a good value in that it prints and scans just fine BUT the scanner interface leaves something to be desired. To the point, the edit page shows thumb nails that are way too small so it's almost impossible to determine if the images are right side up and/or out of order. You can reorder and rotate each image but who knows if you are making the right decision with the tiny blurry size you have to work with. Also, the scanner control window goes away for some unknown reason. I would like it to stay put and not go away.

Workforce 3640

I like this printer for the paper capacity. I often need to print batches of 20 pages (DS which is another great feature) and my Artisan 730 needs to be constantly feed additional paper. All the features (3640) perform well and I can rear-feed card stock. After 1.5 years, the printer no longer prints yellow but the cost of repair is nearly the cost of a new printer so I use my 730 where color is an issue. I often have both printers running (B/W) and the 3640 is a good companion printer. I have found it uses generic cartridges very well which is a huge savings for the amount of printing I have to do.
