I liked the design and overall look of the printer when I first saw it. The simplicity of assembly and installation is very easy. The wireless capability is a big plus and linked up flawlessly. I also like the multiple tray feature. If I needed two printers, I would definitely buy a second one of these.

Endurance?

I'm replacing an Epson WorkForce WF-545 with a WorkForce WF-3640. The WF-545 was +/- 3 years old but seldom used. I had never replaced the colored ink and only replaced the black once. It crashed on me and was cheaper to replace than repair. I hope this one lasts for more copies than my old one did. The print quality was always great, that's why I stayed with an Epson.

Epson WF-3640

Works beautifully so many features still learning about some.
Scanning into Adobe Acrobat DC helps particularly with long documents.
Love that it has multiple trays for paper.
Use it alot to print blueprints etc.

My WF-3460 EPSON

When I got the printer home and went through the setup and connections I was amazed. Most of the time it takes me several hours to set another brand. This was a snap and works great. Time will tell if it is what everyone else is giving this model printer 4-5 star ratings. So For I'm HAPPY.

This is the second printer of they series that I purchased. It is simply fantastic and does all that I need it to do. Wireless works flawlessly; print quality is good and copies are simple. Had some trouble setting it up as I tried to use the cartridges from my old printer, but tech support was very helpful and advised me that the cartridges that came with it needed to be used first. Then the others can be added after the ink runs out. Highly recommended.

Print Not Sharp

I just set up my new Epson WorkForce WF-3640, registered the printer and printed the registration confirmation. The set-up process was very easy, the pages print quickly but the print quality is not sharp and am very disappointed about that. Giving it 3 stars unless there's a way to sharpen the print.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
