SNAP, SNAP EASY!!

Battled other printers that were damaged and had to deal with ITs for hours just to try to set up the printer. This Epson product was a snap to attach, snap to program and easy to answer questions once it was installed!!!!
I'm a Senior who is handicapped and it gave me an amazing sense of independence to handle the entire set-up from beginning to finish by myself!
Thank You again!!!

Gets the job done

I purchased this about 2 months ago. It gets the job done. I had my 12 year old set the programing up and ink by following the easy guided directions. I had to replace my other 4 in 1 printer which used toner. This uses ink I go through it quick, which is distracting. I like it has two paper trays. It also helps you figure out problems. I like the wireless feature as well. The biggest set back about this printer is it is SO DANG SLOW SCANNING. I can't stand that aspect but it scans good.

Going back

Set-up was easy. My previous printer was a WF-2540, so I was familiar with Epson and liked the last one. This one, though - no. I wanted a rear feed for card stock, and my old one (2540) handled it beautifully. The 3640 will, but only allows you to use ONE sheet at a time. The website stated that the printer had a "rear tray for specialty paper including envelopes, labels and card stock." I think it would have been nice to INCLUDE that it only would allow you to use one piece of card stock at a time. Not very user friendly at that - kept rejecting and ejecting the card stock. I will be returning this one day old printer. I'll look for a used or refurbished 2540.

Constant wi-fi issues
on July 25, 2016

Bought this printer after we got fed up with our other printer, an Artisan 837, which would rarely work via wi-fi. This printer behaves the exact same way, unfortunately. We are both tech professionals in our house, so we are pretty skilled troubleshooters. NOTHING we did worked with either printer, not even setting a static IP. It's very frustrating to spend an hour or more trying to get the printer to simply do what we purchased it to do, and eventually giving up. We've wasted both our time and money on both of these printers. On the rare occasion that it does decide to work, we've now found that the scanner puts a lovely black line down the scanned images. I came to this site hoping Epson would have some software or firmware update that would help, but no such luck. This will be my last Epson purchase. Giving one star is misleading, but this site wouldn't allow me to give zero stars.

I'll bet I'm a bit older than the person reviewing this.
I actually get tense trying to hook up equipment like this.
Not only did everything work the way the directions indicated, but my confidence has been boosted because of that ! Thank you.

I love this printer since the first time I used it,the quality is very good,it's easy to use, it looks amazing and the best part is that I can print from my cell phone or any device without connecting them to the printer, most of the time I'm in the kitchen or any other room and I print documents or pictures from there. I highly recommend it!

will not stop printing gibberish
on September 4, 2016

I am still in set-up mode. I have sent nothing to print other than the test page. It WILL NOT STOP printing page after page of gibberish, typically 6 or 7 random letters on a page. There is nothing in the print queue, I have shut down and restarted twice. Somewhere north of 50 sheets of paper at this point, I started "catching" the garbage-print and reloading those pages in the tray rather than continuing to waste paper. Very frustrating.

Epsom 2650 Workforce

I bought this printer for 1 year , this was the worst printer I have ever had , every time which I replaced the cartridges I had to do work on for at least 1 hour to set up , finally this machine after printing like 500 pages now ' paper jam ' error comes up and there is no solution , the support team is really good there is nothing about that but the device itself has a lot of problem , every time I have to call the support to fix this machine . If you want to buy this product think twice before paying and further more each cartridge prints less than 100 pages .
