ease of instalation

this was by far one of the easier printers I have ever installed. And I have done plenty for friends and family, over the years. And the ink cost looks like it will be a lot less then the H.P. printers that I will now not use any more after 20+ years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The product was easily accessible, set up and program efficient. However it would be more sufficient if a bluetooth feature was available.

Great Quailty Documents at Warp Speed

This printer prints out documents at lightning speed, and what it prints is really close to laser printer quality, just as advertised.

I have had this unit for a few years and it has always performed very well. Clear text and fast.
That being said, picture quality is not as good and I have yet to get the envelope printing to work from the back tray.
Copy, Scan, and phone printing are great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Always in Error State

This printer has great reviews but my experience week after week has been disappointing. The printer is in error state much of the time. I reset cartridges, turn off-on the printer to no avail. It's inconsistent and the print cartridges don't last long at all. I would not buy this printer again. It is not dependable and the quality is not good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seriously, only works on 2.4g? Really? Unusable as a wireless printer in my faster network.

The Epson Work Force 3640 is all I hopped it would be. The quality of the printing is clear and even in color it's crisp. Scanning and Faxing is a plus along with the wireless function is awesome. It's quite and it's not expensive to operate. Setup was the easiest ever. Epson answered my needs with this nice looking easy to use printer. I have only had it for about 3-4 months but it is the best I could ask for and it was affordable.
