Setup WF-3640

Setup was relatively seamless.
Regarding the fax setup: it would be nice to know where to go to to set that up later instead of saying look at the guide (because after reviewing the guide it does not mention anything about setting up the Fax functionality later on)
Printing well so far and like the features like print from phone

Enet connections

I wasted my time for several hours trying to get the Enet connection to set up. The instructions are not very good. I switched to wireless (not what I wanted) to get it done. That works fine but again I would rather have it hardwired to the network.

Setup Instructions were not intuitive. I could not do it without help from the excellent Initial Product Setup telephone support -- Daniel was very helpful

A fine printer

I purchased this printer to replace another Epson printer. I print photos often so I wanted a printer with more than one paper tray. This 3640 prints,faxes, and scans very well but I ran into problems when I wanted to have letter size photo paper and letter size regular paper in separate trays. First, tray 1 is the only one that will take photo paper and only recognizes 8x10 size, not letter size. I called the support line but I don't think the person I talked to was very familiar with this printer and these unique facts concerning photo paper size limitations and how to make the printer pull from the proper tray. I finally figured it out on my own but I wasted lots of photo paper trying to get it to pull from the proper tray and over-riding the message about size.Not everyone uses 4x6 or 8x10 paper only. Also, printing envelopes from the rear feed slot is tricky to get them aligned properly. Otherwise, I really like the printer and hope it holds up as well as my other Epson did.

This printer does everything we need for public housing. It has 2 paper trays, it's an all-in-one, it copies 2-2 sided and scans the same.
If it was a laserjet, it would be perfect!
