This is the best printer I have ever used. I have always used HP printers but I am now an Epson printer purchaser forever.

Great Printer, But Doesn't Like WiFi Dropouts

We purchased this printer a few weeks ago. Easy set-up, fast printing, and nice features for the money. The one nagging complaint I have is, if the WiFi drops out, the printer has to be loaded with the WPA key again after the WiFi is operational again. I don't have this problem with other wireless electronics in the house. We have Verizon, so drop-outs happen all the time.

This is my first EPSON printer and I like it. Set-up was easy. It does take a few minutes to cancel a job in progress. The only other "wish" I can think of is that I wish I could get the XL version of color inks. The ink compartment only has room for Black XL. The color ink cartridges come in XL but won't fit. Other than that minor issue I really like the printer.

Good setup

So far so good. Set up was straight forward and pretty easy. Time will tell as to durability. This is my 2nd Epson ink jet printer. The 1st was a simple but reliable XP 300. It worked flawlessly until I used some Costco refilled ink cartridges. That ruined it. That printer used a lot of ink. I spent several times the cost of the printer on ink supplies. Hope this one is better.

Nice printer @ a very reasonable price. However, the instructions are meager. Problems with synching the printer with WiFi are not easily resolved & readily explained. I would have been much happier with this product if Epson had included step-by-step instructions for its complete setup instead of "go to this website & figure it out."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
