It is hard to evaluate the printer when you cannot get it to work. The instructions are not easy. My sister-in-law's new printer loaded up perfectly automatically and was able to go to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far so good. Easy set up for a 50 year old. So that means it is user friendly. Print quality is good. Print speed is good. Purchased it based on reviews. Will check in down the line. :)

I have found that the Epson company is very cooperative and completely understanding. The customer service department is exceptional. The WF-3640 is a great all-in-one printer, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Prints flawlessly at a ridiculously high speed! High quality machine with great features. I highly recommend purchasing this printer to make printing more efficient! Works great with the Epson iprint android app

I have had many printers over the past 30 years, and while a certain brand (with initials like "hello people") gets a lot of attention, I have had nothing but headaches with them.
This was my easiest printer to set up, fastest, and prints with amazing clarity. Really happy with it and would highly recommend for home or business use.

Printer stopped working

When powering on the printer, I received an error message 0X9A that I am unable to clear. I am not able to use or access my printer online. There is no information on how to fix this error in the user manual or on epson's website. I do not have the time to call anyone because I really needed this document printed quickly. The printer is rarely used (for very small print jobs) and is relatively new, so I do not understand why it would be rendered useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Why I will never own another epson

I spend more time attempting to clean heads and buying new ink than printing anything of any use in my personal or business on this printer. I have been in the IT industry 20 years and have never seen such a lousy device. I hate this printer and would not inflict it on my worst enemy. Buy it only if you like over priced ink and constant sub standard performance.
