Old Firmware

This printer has been a pain to use. I had trouble getting it to connect to my computer from the start. Even after loadiing/reloading software and reconfiguring several times. Then I finally discovered that I could update the firmware and that has made things much better. But I never was warned or prompted about the problem by the device. The ink is too small and runs out too fast and costs too much.
I wish I would have purchased something better.

Almost Great

This is my third version of this printer. I love this printer because it is perfect for how I use a printer in my business, however it has problems after about 6 months. I have had the same problem with the other 2 before this one in that the ink starts smearing and none of the recommended problem solvers work and I end up having to get another printer. I keep going back to this one because like I said it works for me, but the problem with the ink needs to be fixed.

I am disappointed in the printer because of several quirks. First, the print quality is not very good unless I use the highest quality print. The problem is that lines or print are very light or unreadable. The, the rear feed seldom works and indicates a paper jam when there is nothing in the printer. Last, when printing envelopes and loading the casette, the loading of the envelopes is the opposite of the screen picture telling you how to load. Very quirky. The layout of two casettes and rear feed is good and would be a real savings if all worked. Will probably get another printer later.

We took a chance and brought the printer. We are very happy that we did. It prints wirelessly and quickly. My husband uses it to scan pictures of the sports cards he sells on eBay and the scans are clear and true to color. His only complaint is the time it takes to scan. I love being able to print from my iPhone.

INK SUCKER! It's a Chevy gas guzzler. You have to use High Yield cartridges for the ink to last. I have already gone through 2 set of cartridges. I print on low quality and on regular paper. Printed only 10 pictures on glossy paper. Horrible.. Cheap upfront pay later.

I love love LOVE this printer.. it prints immediately, scans better than any printer Ive owned before, and no paper jams! Im SO happy!
