Ink issues

The printer does not provide a proper darkness to the prints in the black color range. Comes out gray, have raised the density level by one with out any change in color pattern. Have changed ink company twice am using Epson ink now and no improvement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This printer does an excellent job, took a minute to set up, Only because I was frustrated already,but the wireless option is fantastic

I've only had it a couple months but so far it could not work better. No problems whatsoever and it was very easy to connect, including my wi-fi. I was nervous about connecting it, esp to wi-fi, but it did everything for me. Very easy. Toner is very expensive but other than that, it's great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Printer works fine when plugged in to laptop. Have got the wireless going once but it reverted away from it. Problems getting it reconnected.

I have used Epson printers near exclusively for a decade or more. they all have been one of the best compared to the other "top" names. for whatever reason, the WF3640 has been "difficult". updating status, having to be turned off then back on to get the scan function to work property, being stuck in fax mode when I don't use this one to fax from.
I have tried to update drivers, run "fix this mess" related diagnostics and NADA... still using it, quiet, fast when it gets to printing, but somewhat less impressive than prior units...
will keep trying, but a minor bit annoying to say the least...
