Almost a Great Printer

I have two of the exact same Epson WF3640 Printers for the most part they are fantastic. They are a little hard to program sometimes but if you stick with it and push enough buttons you can figure it out,.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am not totally happy. On the initial printout, every W, V, and Y are printed like they are in BOLD from our IPAD. The page looks really weird. Set-up was pretty easy. We are going to search the internet for a solution to this problem.

The Epson WorkForce WF-3640 is a great printer, I've had problem's with the ink running out sooner than I thought it would, still using it, getting to know it. I like the WI-FI functionality and the Epson connect function as well!

Great Copy!

My initial need for this printer was copy. It is PERFECT and seriously met all my expectations. I was so impressed because it copies dual sides as well! This has been absolutely perfect for my copy needs. It prints super nice as well. I work with music and the lines and note heads look exactly as expected. My only disappointment with this printer is digital graphic printing. Even if black and white or greyscale this printer does not print images at all. I had to put together a collage of pictures for my daughter's school and it would not print the digital images well at all. It printed banded everywhere. I aligned, reconfigured, downloaded new drivers, etc. Nothing worked. To this day I am unable to print digital images on this printer. That was terribly disappointing. I was forced to add an HP printer back to my tool set just to handle the image printing. I had hoped this Epson would perform the job of printing images exactly as they seem in print or as digital. I had hoped I could put a picture on the glass tray and have it enlarge. But none of that works very well. Overall for the amount of music I create, print, purchase, etc I would purchase this printer again.

If printer gets unplugged, the only way I can get it to print again is to uninstall and reinstall the drivers. Very frustrating. Also, I have to individually set to print at "High Quality" with each print. Standard quality is unreadable and the software does not retain setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My WF All-in-One

This is my second WF All-in-One, the first one lasted about two years, sorry to see it die. Of course the new one can't use the ink from the old one and the ink package is about half the price of the printer, which I think STINKS! This time I am going with off brand ink for the first time, it was half as much for three times as much ink! Put it somewhere you won't hear it work, kinda noisy!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Printer on 2.4 Freq WF

THe packaging doesn't say anything about the WiFi frequency, but this printer only works on 2.4. That's not a problem, unless you have all your computers on 5.
