Inferior Product

I bought the Epson WF-3640 in the summer of 2015 and within 1 month it failed. The text printed smudged and the colors sere not vivid. Epson provided me with a replacement printer that worked but only for awhile. About 4 months ago the replacement printer started having the same issues. Unfortunately it is out of warranty. I will be switching brands a product should not fail so rapidly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Setup is painfully slow

Even though a CD is included to install printer software, it still had to download new drivers and install, which was slow. There was also two different occurrences during the installation where a completely different installation window shows up asking to install/remove/repair software, all while the percentage bar in the original installation window is showing installation is ongoing. This is confusing. Functionality seems fine. Installation process is terrible.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Setup was fairly quick and straight forward. Manual at 340 pages complete as a download. Not completely intuitive setup, but once done works well. Really like the dual paper trays and multiple doc feeders.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will not pint quickly from either mac or windows

This has not been a happy experience, printing is slow, up to 10 minutes for a photo....all the help pages blame windows but same issue on mac and ipad!!!! Epson, on help pages admit issue with operating systems and suggest a real fix...not just me read the blogs
