easiest setup

I bought this printer, plugged it in and answered some easy to follow steps on the LCD display on the printer and that was it. Working like a champ from my phone and Ipad. believe it or not i am still using setup cartridge even after printing (black and white) now 69 pages.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought the Epson WF-3in1 for home office. The quality of printing is not the best.
Even after cleaning the ink jets several times the printing results in a lighter than normal copy and clarity lacks. If you want a colored copier that is simple and easy without all the buttons this is not it. I don't need all the bells and whistles nor do I have time to figure it all out. It is easy to reload the ink jet cartridges which seems to be often.

I purchased this printer to replace one that was 7 years old and not wireless - it wasn't that hard to install and so far works well

I had this printer for 15 months then it quit working. I called Epson and they told me that it needed to be serviced it kept getting error code 0x97. It seems to be happing to a lot of these printers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Could be more user friendly

I just installed this computer for personal printing, scanning, and faxing. Scanning is definitely not user friendly! I expected to be able to just push a button on the printer control panel as on my other printer and not have to go into the computer system itself to search for an "event planner." Printing is also more difficult. Print "Preferences" does not give choice of draft or standard. Instead, I had to search through pages of options to finally find the "select" box to check for draft quality printing. Positive: printer is quiet and doesn't shake when printing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
