We just installed the printer and it was quite involved. I would recommend calling tech support for help (562-276-4382). I have the wireless mode active and it is a great benefit. I can print from our laptop downstairs and that will come in handy. The printer is really fast and the letters are crisp. I am very satisfied so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this Epson for about 3 months. I have used everything except the Fax and the smartphone/tablet print anywhere. The fax part I can't use because no landline. It would be nice to be able to send fax by internet so this feature won't be used. The E-print doesn't seem to work or I haven't found an easy way to make it work. Following the instructions not the easiest but maybe I'm missing something.
All other in-house Wi-Fi works great including the scan to computer.
Windows 7 and 8 find drivers for it but to work all functions use the CD or download the latest version for the device.

Just received my new 3640 today. It was a snap to set up and setting up the wireless was even easier. I was amazed at the print quality. This is my 4th Epson printer. My last printer lasted nearly 6 years and the one before that lasted just as long. Epson is the only printer that I will buy. Another great printer!!

Best Printer in Years

I print a lot in my home office and have gone through 4 printers in 3 years. By far this printer is the best one yet - easy set up, I can print from my iphone and ipad as well as my computer from anywhere within my WiFi range. Scanning is a snap as well as the fax function. I really like the fact that I can put legal and letter paper in each tray so that I don't have to keep taking the paper out and in over and over. Great value for the price!

Presets are quirky

In example I try to configure preset with pdf output file but it stubbornly defaults to jpg. You have to select function such as Edit/Delete and then select particular Preset.
There is no ability to configure preset from computer.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Setup was breeze. Printer was added to my wireless network without any issues. Print quality is outstanding and I love the double-sided feature.
