I bought this printer a couple of months ago and I am so pleased with how easy it is to set up. The software walks you through flawlessly even downloading and updating the firmware. Printing quality is awesome and printing setup for my iPhone was a breeze.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have purchased three of these and each one performs flawlessly, with one exception. To use the desktop scan software, one must turn the printer off then restart.

Easy all around

I'm accustomed, and almost expect, a new product showing up with something essential missing from the box, or, more likely, setup instructions that make no sense. Not so with the Epson WF-3640. The setup illustrations are easy to follow, the ink cartridges load ridiculously easy, the software loaded quickly, and the road to real printing was so smooth I thought I must have missed something somewhere along the way and would find I couldn't print. But no: the test print came out perfect, and I am in business. I am sold on this product.

Love the printer............................except

using this WF-3640 since September 2014. It is a workhorse for documents and decent quality/resolution color prints, but the ADF claims to have a paper jam that can't be located. As a result, the ADF is useless for scanning multiple pages efficiently. Reading numerous blogs reveals that this is not an uncommon problem. Hopefully the next iteration of the WF printer that I purchase will have this bug worked out.

Trouble setting up prnter

I had trouble setting up this printer. I kept receiving many printer error codes during set up. It turned out one of the clips was in the wrong position and was preventing the cartridge from moving along the carriage. It was very frustrating. I am hoping it will work now that it has been adjusted.

Best all in one I've had

I have had this WF-3640 for about 4 months and am completely pleased with its performance. Our printing is not heavy, but perhaps average. The original color ink cartridges are only down about to half full and the black to about 1/3 full. I do not know how so many reviews talk about being ink hungry. The the duplex printing and scanning is amazing. Well done, Epson!

Prints are better than the Brother printer I've bought two years ago. The Brother printer tells me its out of ink after I put in new cartridges.

I just purchased the Wf-3640 printed a few pages amazing color and speed. Super easy setup. Highly recommend! I had a workforce 545 finally died after 5 years of abuse... I printed thousands of catalogs for my business and numerous other pages. on a 1-5 I give the 545 at least a 10 star......I believe this printer will do well.
