Set-Up

I am a 70-yr-old retired lady. Bought this months ago and dreaded the set-up. But finally had to print something. Set-up went smoothly other than I recommend you enlarge the picture of the print cartridges in the case in Step 3 of the START HERE quick set-up guide, and spell it out that you have to open the case that holds them before you can see where to put the colors of ink. I couldn't get the case open at first, but figured it out finally.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quick Start Guide

I suggest that you expand the Quick Start Guide or I suggest that you direct the buyer/installer to refer to a more detailed step by step. e.g. It should tell the installer to refer to the screen and fill out the date/time etc or the the ink cartridge carriage will not release.
Install Software instructions are not geared to the installer NOT using wifi.

I ONLY buy Epson or Brother Products! They always under promote and over deliver vs. all other brands out there. you can always rely on an Epson or Brother. Both are sister Companies too ;)

Will have to try this out for a while and see how it performs but the initial setup and test have gone smoothly. Little on the loud sound, but I have louder printers at my work so not bad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy With This Replacement

Easy to map for wireless printing. Good quality print like its predecessor. Speed is adequate. Scan is better as my old machine had some kind of issue where there was a scratch down the right quarter of every scanned document for the last 18 months. Quick warm up. The document feeder does act a little strange when initiating a scan from my computer versus the controls on the printer itself.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using the product for about 3 weeks and am generally satisfied with its performance. My only comment is that it doesn't seem to produce copies or documents as fast as indicated. Quality of the documents is fine - just a bit slow but am using it as a backup so can live with it. If it was my only unit I would not purchase again but would elect a faster model.
I would recommend this to a friend!
