This review is for setup process:
The installation disk was unable to connect the printer to wireless printing. After unsuccessful attempt, the prompts asked if I wanted to set up WIFI from the "buttons on the printer" to which I agreed. Setup successful after manual keying from printer.

Too many printed test pages and diagnosis sheets when there is a perfectly clear screen to display such messages. Maybe I didn't hit the right button, but that would have saved precious ink and paper.
First test print from my phone printed beautifully. I'm looking forward to using this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this printer for home use. I think this is the 1st tech product I have been able to successfully set up alone without having to go online or call someone for support. I did not have to repeat any of the steps. Everything went off without a hitch! Have not printed much yet, but the quality of the test pages is extremely good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Difficult set up - still struggling

My all-in-one died just around tax season so I ordered this Epson WG-3640. It has lots of features but it is far from intuitive to set them up. Somehow it got set to two-sided printing and it took me much effort to figure out how to turn it off! Also, I still don't know how to select which tray so that i can use scrap paper for test printing and drafts. My HP was more intuitive to figure out. It prints well, tho once you figure it out and faxes seem to be working fine.

Easy to set up

Bought it today and after 45 mins it is up and running via Ethernet cable to my router. I wanted to set up the wireless thingie but I do not have the necessary information about my wireless to do that today. So far so good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Prints the outline of the letters when using black.

I bought this a year ago, and even with cleaning the printer heads, it still only prints the outlines of letters when using black. I have to print in full color for it to print correctly.

great Fax, Great Scanner. Lousy Printer

This worked great until I had to change ink cartridges. It copies in a very faded print. I will not purchase another one. I have cleaned heads and done the maintenance. But it still will not copy or print well from the computer .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dissapaointed!

Bought this all in one last Oct 2016, had laser like quality for 3 months then the the quality degraded to grainy even on the highest quality settings, using the expensive
Epson ink cartridges. Now I have to take to get it repaired or replaced under warranty. Really disappointed in the quality of this printer, I've done all the head cleanings and alignments, MANY times without any improvement in quality.
