WF-3640 is outstanding.

My old WF-323 was a great multi-printer, but the WF-3640 is an outstanding improvement. Its well worth the price. After two months of use, I've had only good experiences.
I would recommend this to a friend!

2nd WF 3640 I've owned. #1 gave up the ghost after 2 yrs of satisfactory use. #2 - after 5 hours of trying to connect wirelessly, following Epson's printed and online, and YouTube instructions, my frustration is 15 on a scale of 1 to 10!

OK Product

Prints fast, holds a lot of paper, scans fast but the print quality is rather weak. Every time we prnt something that has color in it, there are lines all over the color. I've done all the maintenance etc it doesn't fix it. Pretty sad for something pretty much new and started acting up.

Great quality when it doesn't have technical issues

I can't get the printer to pull paper out of the first tray, only the second no matter what I try. The quality of the print is great. However, it jams constantly, won't pull paper from the first tray, and half the time it prints a blank page when it should have full text on it.

Setup

I was loathing setting up my new printer to a home wireless network. Honestly, I'd rather do my taxes than deal with computer "ANYTHING". To my surprise, I have to say that this was the easiest product setup (and product registration) I have ever encountered. Granted, it's been a long while since I've purchased and installed new devices, however, the improvements in the software for installing products has improved significantly. Bravo!!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was impressed with the friendly installation to go wire less. The only confusion was the need or no need for the USB cable? I liked the Epson firmware update that occurred at the end of the installation...very nice.
