Just purchased the Epson WorkForce WF-3640 and set it up. Everything I have printed looks terrible so far. I was wanting this for personal and business but I am not sure it will work for either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Printer For The Price

I bought the WF 3640 a little over a month ago. Set-up went smoothly but took a little time. Quality is good, but NOT better than laser. Color printing is a little 'off' as far as red = purple; yellow = pale yellow - but black is still black. Ink yield (standard carts) is OK so far. I have printed, scanned & copied with no issues whatsoever. So, overall I think it was a good value for the money.
In my situation, space is an issue and this is a bit bulky; but made it work.

Fast Scan & Print

The print speed is better than I expected, but I am disappointed the scanning features. For example, regarding inability to use "." as part of a file name when scanning a document. The only solution is a work-around by saving the file, after scanned, and then renaming it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this printer six weeks ago and already it has ceased to print in color, the same as my previous Epson WorkForce All-in-one

Excellent printer with one caviat

Our Epson printer does an amazing job, and does it for a very reasonable cost per page.
The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that, often, when attempting to wirelessly print using ANY of my computers, the printer doesn't show up unless I reboot it just before printing. Fortunately, it's reboot time is minimal, but you shouldn't need to reboot the printer to print wirelessly.

NOT GOOD Your printers really suck

I have bought 4 WF-3640 Sent One Back to You. and now Have another ready to go soon. Just bought a New WF-3640 Yesterday, have been working on it all day and it has NOT printed one thing yet. Nice Stuff you people build NOT.
