scaner will not scan to my computer

my scanner only scan for a short time then stop scanning to my windows paint I work hard reinstalling every thing on my computer and it work for 1 day then stop again, the same thing happen to printing from my computer, this is driving me up the wall because there is so many things that has to be installed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After owning another known brand of all in one, I decided to try Epson and am I glad I did and since then (some 15 years) I've only used Epson products.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Obliged to install a color cartridge to print black&white?

When one of the color cartridges goes low in ink (something that happens suspiciously too often even if you do not print ever in color) the printer will not aloud you to print anything, even in black and white, until you install a new color cartridge, and those are very expensive.
I will never buy again a EPSON device in the future, until this feature is disable.
