Had three fail in 10 months

First one lasted 5 months. Replacement from Epson lasted 5 months. Another failed within just 4 hours.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like my new printer-Epson WorkForce 3640.
I had another brand printer and had lots of trouble with the previous one. This printer was simple to set up. It prints quickly and quietly and has lots of options for printing The ink is cheaper than for the other printer I had. The WorkForce 3640 is great!

It has met all of my expectations but I must say I haven't very much. I did print the user manual, printing on both sides of the paper and when finished was informed it needed black ink.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good printer, but frequent ink changes

Really like the printer but the ink cartridges are way too small and require frequent changes other than that, it's a very solid printer.

I have had around ten Epson printers through the years and this one replaces one that recently died.
The good points, multiple input trays, fast speed, pretty decent photo printing from a 4 color printer. This model works with AirPrint fom Apple devices which I consider a big plus.
The biggest negative, the rear tray which will take envelopes, requires that you send the print job to the printer before placing envelopes in the feed tray. A bit strange to say the least. This model will not print on CDs/DVDs like my last one did.
