I primarily use this device as a printer even though I have used it to copy also. I am not computer literate but found this printer relatively easy to install. I am not sure if all of the capabilities of this item have been installed properly but know that the wireless printer function has solved a printing problem with a laptop computer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Multiple printers failed within 18 months

I have 3 of these. One failed in 18 months; the second failed in 8 months. Very functional printer but totally unreliable. Both failures came from printer head/cartridge failures. Using the rear envelope feed may ruin a cartridge in a single envelope.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I went into Costco to purchase a replacement printer for my HP printer, when talking to the sales rep. I was amazed at all the features the Epson had at almost half the price and the quality of the copies is top notch. wireless, you can put an SD card directly into the printer, cardstock feeds from the back, all the features you never could get on a printer at this cost. I am so very pleased with my new printer and set up was a breeze.
I would recommend this to a friend!

New Epson

My friend bought a new HP all in one and asked me to install it on her wireless network. I worked for four hours and in the end it wouldn't scan in the network the way we wanted it to. She took the HP back and bought an Epson Workforce WF-3640. Installation took a reasonable amount of time with no hitches. The unit works as she wants it to. She should have bought Epson in the first place.

communication error with macbook air
