I HAVE NOT HAD A BETTER PRINTER THAN THIS ONE I AM A NOTARY AND BEFORE I PURCHASED THIS PRINTER I WENT THROUGH 3 OTHERS THAT COULD NOT GET THE JOB DONE

Solid basic printer, horrible user experience

This is the most frustrating printer you will ever own.
If all you want is to copy, scan, & print on 81/2 x 11 plain copier paper, then its a good printer. If you want to do photos, or print on anything other than letter size paper, run away.

Never know what paper tray it wants to feed from, even when tell it. Too many times have had to pull out all the trays and feed manually from the rear tray, and even then it gets it wrong 50% of the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great all in one printer for the price

I have owned this printer for over a year now and it has performed wonderfully. I have used it for normal printing, photographs, faxing, scanning and wireless printing and it has worked great. I like that it offers two sided printing, which it does very well. It also scans two sided documents and with the document feed, I can load a decent number of pages at a time.
I have not had any problems with the printer and I've used it for several hundred pages of printing so far.
I recommend this product.

I realize that a person should have basic knowledge of printers when he or she purchases one, but then their is also certain things that must be accomplished in order to make it work and your instructions booklet has a couple of defaults that should be corrected by the manufacture ( your company)

1.Your instructions booklet should be rewritten so that it gives more information on set up and operating the Epson workforce.
2. The way that the ink weld is built, makes it hard to change ink cartridges as a person must use force to remove and replace the ink.

Escellent Printer, Few Flaws

Paper handling is great; would be better if the rear slot tray would accept multiple sheets and fee them in, so it could handle, say, ten sheets of paper and half a dozen envelopes.
Ink consumption is reasonable; would be better if when using non-OEM cartridges it wouldn't accept them without the annoying messages telling you that you're using a non-OEM cartridge; proprietary ink is so 20th century.
Display is highly useful.
Misprints on paper should have the ability to automatically restart the page that's only partially printed, especially after you get an out-of-ink-time-to-replace message; ink replacement comes far too soon to the end of a cartridge's life.
I would recommend this to a friend!
