Once I learned to lightly touch the choice screen..it has worked fine. Lightly touching the screen was Very DIFFICULT to learn with no instructions.

The Epson WF640 I bought has performed to my expectations, clean printing, saving ink, easy to use and even program. The replacement ink was easy to get and install too. I wood recommend this model as a good value for the price.

The printer does a great job with documents. It is very fast. It really doesn't do photos very well at all. Every time I try to print a photo, I get an error message telling me that the paper I am using doesn't match what's in the printer even though everything is correct. This is a real pain!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The print quality is good.
The scanning and character recognition are excellent.
My biggest problem is that you cannot print black and white if any of the color tanks are empty. This makes no sense.

Worst printer ever!

I buy a lot of printers of all makes and models. The WF-3640 is by far the worst. The print quality, which is the basis for my review, reminds me of that of a bad typewriter. Lines are blurry, smudged, smeared, etc. And, I only used genuine Epson ink. I have cleaned the print nozzles many times, updated drivers, everything. This printer is worthless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
