Ease of setting up the printer with drivers

After unpacking the Epson printer WF-3640 I reviewed the limited paper instructions, which were ok. All of the electronic setup was through the provided cd, which contain the download of the printer drivers and the manual. It was very easy to complete the printer setup and a test page was easy to print and the page was printed quicker than I expected. I look forward to years of great printing from this product. Thanks Epson.

EPSON Workforce WF-3640 works equally well whether printing, copying or scanning.

Amazing functionality for the money.

I connected to my computer using the USB port so I can't comment on the WI-Fi. The USB install and connection was a breeze.
Primary use has been two side printing of PDF,XLS and DOC files. Pleased by the speed.
I was delighted to discover that the unit could scan a multi-page double sided document in the feeder on top of unit, scan both sides and create a complete PDF file which could be saved or copied.

I couldn't get past installing the "came with it" ink cartridges. The instructions that came with it and the manual online didn't tell me that the screen is "touch screen". It didn't tell me the number of steps I had to do before the ink cartridge holder would slide to the left so I could install the cartridges.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It'll be okay

I am challenged when it comes to "setting" up computer/printer/smart phones and the Epson WF-3640 was no different. However, after spending 4 hours and a sleepless night, I asked a friend for help ~ 15 minutes the wireless printer was ready to go! Doing great now. Its ok to be computer illiterate
