I was never a big fan of all in one unit, but this one I really think is great. I have had the Epson printers before and they all have done a great job of printing. This one, when it does print anything, it really looks like I had an office store do the printing for me. (Great job). The best feature is the ink replacement, when you run out of one color that's all you have to replace, which save money. And we all like saving money when we can.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It took a minute to decide between the 3640 and the 3620. We like the larger screen and the eco mode, but would have preferred the single tray for a smaller profile. The larger display won. The set up was thorough and took a while, but relatively painless. Love the wifi and the looks. The touch display works great and is attractive. Overall, excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not everyone buying this printer is tech savvy...i.e..me!
Please provide a little more in-depth information when setting up the printer.....for example....
I was trying to do the registration on the printer nowhere does it say to do it on your computer...up to this point every step went very well...but when I needed to register it did not tell me...now, register your printer on your computer! I went round and round trying to register on the printer touchscreen ...even had my husband tried to figure it out...rather frustrated.
Please provide a little more in-depth information when setting up the printer.....for example....

I am very happy with my new printer. It is at a wonderful price point and the quality and options are super. I really like the wireless connection and the both side printing is an added plus. If you read this and go with this Workforce WF-3640 you won't be sorry.

Setup is harder than most printers but prints very well. have problem changing time zone when moving to a new location. should get time off of the internet connection.

Another Great Epson Printer

We needed an immediate replacement for our old
printer which died unexpectedly. Looking online, the WF-3640 looked like the ideal printer for us. Reading the reviews showed it was a good fit, both for price and features. After using it for a few months, we love it. The speed and print quality are great, although color photos could be brighter. Overall this is a good printer for SOHO use.

WF-3640 Easy set up

The printer was easy to set up. Despite not having a CD-rom drive on my laptop, downloading the software directly from Epsom was easy and clearly set up in the set-up guide.
The set-up Wizard walks you right though all the steps (helps to have your computer screen nearby if you have to set up the printer manually on your wifi network, as every step is covered). The printer even tells you if it has good or poor wifi reception.
I proceeded to print the test page, which took about 3 seconds to print. I would say the speed is comparable to most desktop laser printers I have used over the years.
I did not set up the fax (not needed), so cannot speak to that factor.
If it continues to be so easy to use, I look forward to years of happy printing.
