Expected better!

I had one of these before and thought upgrading would be a good idea. The printer won't stay online with my wireless network. I went onto the internet to see if anyone else was having the same problem and wow! I think HP better spend some time fixing this problem. I have to turn my printer off and on every time it decides to go offline. Pretty much a hassle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for small office!

I am a real estate agent and print, scan, & fax on a regular basis. I love how you can scan individual pieces of paper (one's you wouldn't put in the feeder because of the curled/wrinkled edges) into the same file. Best feature is the ability to scan, copy, & print legal size (8 1/4" x 14") papers. My only con is some large PDF files are slow to print, but this could be a wireless network issue on my end.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The quality of this printer is amazing given the price.
The printing is crisp, fast, and the colors are true to life.

This Office jet 8610 E performs very well for me and I have 3 of them. Small office areas, good on ink and speed could be better but price is right. Have had this product 2 years on older one and no problems yet. Buy it on sale and if you get 2 years out of it toss it and get another with same ink cartrige

I got this product higher than market value

Secondly I thought the product comprises of outo duplex scan if fed from top tray but not

Printer works well except the paper drawer is very difficult to open, it's a struggle every time, it's made from a very thin, soft plastic that literaly bends when trying to open.
Print faster than 8600 model
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had no problems with the printer/fax other then phone calls but at this time do not know if it is the printer or my provider. Had a problem with the fax setting at first Ink use is very good.
