Would not buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it cleans powerfully, the interior design stinks. The angle on the top rack make putting my glasses in impossible. All of the movable parts don't "lock" into place well at all. The silverware basket is 3 pieces. They don't stay together so lifting the whole thing out to unload is impossible. The times of the lower rack fall down EVERY time I close the tray. So my dishes are constantly falling over and crashing together.

Still Learning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dishwasher for a couple of months now and I'm still learning how to use it. So far the only issues I really had was dishes not getting dry. I think I've finally got that figured out though so I'm satisfied with that. The only other issue is how long it takes to wash my dishes. Compared to my old GE Profile this one seems to take forever, 3 to 4 hours. It's really quiet though so that's a big plus compared to my old one. One other thing is I wish you could push a button to select the Steam instead of having to select specific cycles.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher does a superb job and runs so quietly that it frequently catches us off-guard with the little musical phrase it plays upon completion.
Pros: ease of use, Performance, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Quiet but Clean Dishes Are An Issue
on March 4, 2018

The cycles are too long and the dishes come out foggy and unclean. We use a rinse aid as it suggests in the manual and an extra rinse cycle, dishes still don't come out clean. Clear glass seems to come out the worst. They seem to come out dirtier than when we put them in. Mainly, the glass is very foggy and has a white film that my wife has to manually scrub off later. The bottom rack prongs are difficult to keep vertical and the arrangement of them, in order to hold plates straight, is not very intuitive. My main concern is the fogginess and lack of cleanliness seen on the dishes. Is there something we're doing wrong? Oh, the third top third rack is not very helpful. Suggestions?
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use

Junk from day 1

This dishwasher is now 4 years old and it could have burned my house down. The circuit board is fried, plastic is melted, and wires are corroded. New part is $200. The door for the soap falls off, the arm mounted to the bottom of the upper rack falls off, and the seal for the back of the upper rack falls off. We bought all new lg appliances 4 years ago, and we couldn’t be more disappointed. Every single one, except the dryer (knock on wood) has had issues or failed completely. I will never buy from lg again.
Pros: Style/Design

Rack rusted an fell apart within two years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishwasher leaks around door seal. It’s a small leak, so not a big deal, but do get dried soap residue on floor. Like others have posted, the top rack began rusting and falling apart before the dishwasher was even two year’s old.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1year 1000 dollars almost repair man here 4-6 times flooded condo

not what is advertised

Soon after we purchased the dishwasher, parts just started coming off starting with the upper rack plastic pieces that position the racks. We have had to continuously attempt to put it back together and deal with racks that no longer adjust. It doesn't rinse well which is one of the reasons we purchased the dishwasher. (We use the rinse aid as directed.) The spray arms have come off, with many pieces just simply breaking. Very disappointed since we thought we were purchasing a quality dishwasher.
