Washes Great, but HORRIBLE dish placements

The dishwasher cleans fantastic. But placing the dishes into the dishwasher is a nightmare! The adjustable 2nd rack doesn't hold glasses very well, the row farthest to the right is next to useless, unless you want your glasses to tip over. The angle that the rack sets the glasses on is too steep and causes them to fall over. The upper rack I thought would be great, but it's also hard to use as it's really just set up for silverware. It would be much nicer to have just a bit more room and the plastic tines to me a bit more adjustable so I can put longer utensils like cooking spoons, tongs and such up there without them interfering with the wash. The tines on the bottom rack are a bit flimsy and they knock down easily, but I haven't had them fall down during the wash. Overall, I love it, but I really wish I could get a different 2nd rack to put in it....that would make it almost perfect. And boy is it QUIET...LOVE THAT!

You Won't Find A Quieter Dishwasher!!

This dishwasher Amazed me! My husband has been complaining for 7 years about our old dishwasher making too much noise when he was watching TV and I couldn't do a load when he was. NOW, I can run this dishwasher anytime I want to! As far as features and reviews go about this product: Some have complained that the second (of three) rack "slides" don't go all the way back when putting into position, I experience that and it's annoying; also others complain about the "tines" falling down, I don't experience that because since they are "adjustable", they have to "lock" into position and to me this is a very key advantage to the dishwasher and lastly if you read reviews before buying a product like I do; you will read the Manual before using it! It gives you 100's of options for the kind of load you are trying to clean! My favorite selection is: "Heavy, Steam and Extra Rinse" and it still uses less than half the water that my old dishwasher used. My dishes have never come out so sparkling clean and dry!!! If you don't research the reviews online about this product, it has a 4.7 average rating out of 5. That is hard to find!

So quiet!

Very happy with the performance of this dishwasher. It is quiet and efficient and does a great job cleaning my dishes. A lot of options to choose from. The only complaint I have is that the plates fall over way too easily.

One quiet dishwasher

We read the reviews for this so we ordered one. After it was installed we put a lot of nasty dirty dishes in and ran the machine. I had to keep going out to the kitchen to see if it was running it was so quite. Also the steam on board is great if you do not overload.

Bought all new LG kitchen and laundry appliances due to the excellent reviews in several leading websites and consumer publications. I have yet to regret it! The stainless metal exteriors are a snap to clean, and each device feels solid, well thought out and constructed. For the dishwasher, again, like everything else LG vs my old units, is virtually silent. The three racks allow for tremendous flexibility, and the fact that they move, flip, fold and contort to your dishes is a "why didnt they do this years ago on my old stuff" moment after first use. The steam function gets plates and glasses super hot, and leaves me feeling good about the sanitary state of my dishes and utensils. Only caveat is the super bright blue lights telling you how far along the cycle is. Its not the idea, I love having the indicator lights (and all of the other musical chimes LG devices make) but these are just really really bright. A quick fix, just cut out some circles from a strip of clear tape. It knocks the brightness down enough that it doesnt light up the entire kitchen at night. Seriously though, I am nit picking with this comment, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase!

QUIET QUIET QUITE

The only way I know this is working is to look for the blinking blue light. I have bought "quiet" dishwashers before - Not!
My dishes are always spotless and I love the little third rack.
It is not just quiet - I can't even hear it if I am 5 feet away. Only can hear a slight sound when I am standing right in front of it. AND it matches my refrigerator.

Cleans sparkling clear

I was very impressed with the ability of this dishwasher to remove stains left by my previous highly reviewed dishwasher. I really enjoy the thought of steam technology. No spots, dishes are dry. I have no complaints.
