[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever seen. But it also does a great job cleaning
Pros: Style/Design

Mixed feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm disappointed in the design of the upper rack. We've broken several glasses due to the too sharp downward angle of the side areas which greatly limits what can be placed there. We have to run the dishwasher more frequently due to the inability to place dishes safely so they won't break. On the positive side - dishes are much cleaner with this dishwasher and it's quieter than any other unit we've encountered. The top 3rd rack is very nice for small items. Just wish the upper rack was more functional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we bought this machine about 2 months ago to use constantly but it doesn't really have a place to hold plates that doest fall over the other and it DOES NOT dry dishes even if we put to extra dry which it take more than 3 hours. we are very disappointed with this buy

OK, cleaning, Very tired of the smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to replace a 10year old kitchen aide dishwasher.. Bottom rack is spaced for plates, anything else you have to move racks and cut capacity by 40%. cleaning is OK. In 1 year, I have not see any value the steam feature adds to the cleaning.
The real problem is the smell, this unit does not have a food grinder so you have to remove the screen and trap often and scrub with bleach to kill the sell. Don't forget the bottom of the trap, I have found funky mold growth on it. LG should pull the trap and add a grinder!!!!

LG is going to regret asking for my review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the biggest piece of garbage I have ever bought for my home. The only reason I give it 1 star is because I cannot give it 0. The pump only lasts for a few months before it needs replacing. The control board doesn't last long either. It may look nice on the outside but it is definitely a poorly made, cheap plastic, cheap part product on the inside. This dishwasher is ALWAYS breaking. I would run from this product.

Beautiful, quiet and cleans great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the black stainless. It is beautiful and does resist fingerprints. The dishwasher cleans very well and when using the appropriate dish-washing pods, the dishes and glasses come out dry and spotless. The steam option is wonderful for getting dried or baked on food from dishes and pans. The upper third rack is a nice addition. We use it for small items and larger utensils. It is also incredibly quiet. The only complaint I have is with the design of the bottom rack. The folding sections fall quite easily and can be very frustrating when loading dishes. It is for this reason that I don't give this product a 5.

An Excellent Machine with a Few Drawbacks
on September 22, 2017

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our LG dishwasher is overall a fine machine. It does get the dishes clean. There are a variety of wash cycles and in some there are a few additional choices (e.g., the intensity of the rinse spray, how hot the water, etc.) It is nice to have a rinse-only cycle (when you're not ready for a full cycle). The drawback is the length of the cycles; nearly all take at least 2.5 hours up to almost 3 (and possibly longer). There is a Quick and Dry that's shorter, but only for a light load. As for racks, the horizontal positions are excellent; the top full rack can be raised or lowered depending upon what is in the bottom tray. The third rack also is a great idea for silverware, very small bowls, etc. The problem area is with the adjustable tines: While the idea is good -- to have tines that can be lowered to fit various dishes, these tines do not hold position well when in the regular (vertical) position so one is forever having to bend down to raise them back up and often to redo the dishes that have come unloose. Also, in the bottom rack, the rows of tines do not always line up well, which means plates & bowls start knocking into each other. These flaws are annoying but are far from being a major problem! Over all, we are quite happy with it.

Somewhat pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the dishwasher is good. The first time we loaded it, we found that it was strange in the way it loaded. The top rack slot for glasses is to steep and the glasses will tip over. Over all, we are trying to get use to how it loads even after 11 months. Also sometimes the silverware still have food particles on them, especially knives.
