Bass is nonexistent

I just bought these and I really regret it. The treble is just fine, but I couldn’t even hear the bass! Some people probably won’t care, but as a bass player, that’s probably the most important feature in a set of earbuds. Again, a lot of people won’t care, but if you play the bass or just like the bass in music, you’ll need a different set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Second WI-C400 that simply fails to power on

I've liked the features and performance of the WI-C400. But this is the second unit that has simply stopped operating--this one, within a few months of purchase. The previous was within a year. I've been loyal to Sony, but see that the small electronics have very marginal reliability. I cannot recommend Sony small electronics--the corporation has lost its ability to manage quality and reliability.

Awful, use your money on something else

Only positive is they are comfortable. Other then that they are trash. The phone call feature is not that great. The person on the other end of the call can barely hear you even with holding it closer to your mouth. When the Bluetooth is connected is all static and not a clear sound. I thought id treat myself to something a little nice but i was wrong. Like i said, use your money on something else.

No where close to LG functions

I bought this device a couple of months ago and I'm greatly disappointed. The mic picks up every little sound which makes it very hard to have a convo unless you are sitting completely still in the library. The ear buds are always in the way or rubbing my neck like something is crawling on me. The headset doesn't have vibration for text messages. The LG vibrated 1 time to let you know these was a text versus an actual call. This device also doesn't have the function of letting you know when you have left your phone behind. The LG would continue to buzz like a call until you were back in the vicinity of your phone. This is just a very bad headset. Thought it would be better by it being made by SONY since you guys are very large, reputable company but I thought wrong. The battery life is the ONLY positive about this headset.

Shoddy audio quality, eventual and quick death

I bought this headset only a few months ago and it is currently completely non-functional. All it does is show a purple colored LED, doesn’t shut off, doesn’t reset, doesn’t pair. I’ve not abuse it. I’ve not mishandled it. It just doesn’t work. Even before it’s pseudo-death spiral its call quality was questionable. I’m not sure what other competitor brand to go with to replace these, but I’m definitely not going back to Sony for this type of gear.

Great Sound Quality, Terrible Construction Quality

These produce excellent quality sound for a $30 headphone, however as mentioned by many others, one side quit working after exactly 40 days. Unfortunately, because I foolishly expected them to at least last 90 days with minimal use, I did not keep my receipt.
This is not my first pair of Sony ear buds that have failed on one side, but other pairs usually lasted over a year, not 40 days.

Don't work with Android!

These were a waste of money! They do not work with my Note 4. The player will only play one song and only if you can figure out the secret set of button presses to get the pause to stop. And I DID download the Smart Key app. Since my only need for headphones is for my smartphone music, these are now garbage. What a waste.
Oh, and in searching the owners manual, I see that Sony says something similar to "not guaranteed to operate all music players." SERIOUSLY!? Since when do Sony headsets not work with music players!!!!!
