get rid of in line mic

SONY - can you please make an earbud without the in line mic. The in line mic compromises the earphones robust construction that I have become accustomed to. I have used ear buds since their inception with the Walkman back in the 80's with no issues until the in line mic of the modern age. Moisture makes in line mic malfunction. I just bought a pair of new earbuds - but they are basically useless after mile 3 while I am running. (they sound good until then) Do you have an old pair of ear buds I can purchase?????

Great headphones, but broke after only 5 months :(

I received these as a gift in late May, but they just broke. I can't hear out of the left ear, because the wires are somehow broken near the jack, even though I was pretty careful with them. They work great, with a great balance of treble and bass. I really like the multi-function button and the length adjuster that comes with them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No complaints!

I bought a pair of these earbuds three years ago and they did not disappoint. For the price, the sound quality was a little better than expected and these earbuds have a pretty good bass range. The best thing about these earbuds was their durability. I worked out regularly with these babies and even accidentally washed them a few times and they never stopped working perfectly. I'm back here on the website to order a new pair since I seem to have lost my original pair. Great earbuds!

Excellent sound from such an affordable headset

For inexpensive earbuds these have amazing sound. Lots of base, good volume output even on low- or mid-volume setting on the device. Very impressed. They're also surprisingly comfortable even for hours of wear. The handy cord winder tool isn't sexy looking but does help keep them from getting knotted up in my bag. These are my go-to buds for when I need a compact pair of buds.

Only works for a week

The first time I bought these was because I had bought an earlier version that I loved. I thought these would be the same. When I first tried put them to use the sound quality was as great as I remember. Then a month later they stopped working. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and bought another pair, same exact story. Then I got a different pair of Sony ear buds I had used and loved before as well. These didn't even last a day! I guess sony isn't what it used to be in the ear bud department. I was a lifelong fan that got let down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So comfortable but not durable

I have owned 2 pairs of these in the past year and both have broken! I thought the first pair was just bad luck so I tried again but they broke as well. They are very comfortable and great for running but not durable, disappointed...

Amazing Product!!!

I have had these earbuds for about 3 years they still sound amazing but 3 years later the sound has gotten a little quieter over the past few months but I'm still happy with them and still use them to this day :)

excellent sound, not long lasting

I bought these headphones last year, they have been great up until now, sound clarity I have never heard in other earbuds, but now the left earbud went incredibly quiet, the right still works perfectly, maybe its because I use the microphone for phone calls, I dont know. I wouldve given a perfect 5 star if they still had sound in both ears, I am trying the MDRXB50 that someone got me for Christmas and already I can say they do not sound as good as MDR EX110 AP, yes there is more bass but the sound is very compromised to make the bass, guess I will just have to save up for some Bose earbuds
