[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as a replacement stovetop a few weeks ago. It’s ok but I find the controls to be a two step process which seems unnecessary. You have to press the individual control to on and then go back to the central control to select the temp 1-9. You have to do this every time you adjust the burner. Also you have have to hold each surface button down for a few seconds there not instantaneous. Both of these issues are quite annoying when you have multiple burners in use!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can’t get high heat or turn certain burners off individually- need to shut the entire cook top off. Repair is SLOW!!!! I personally think this is a fire hazard. Still waiting for the repair guy to show up with the part!

Although the time between purchase and installation was lengthy I am happy to report it was all worth it. This beautiful LG cooktop replaced a 20 year old cracked and failing cooktop and I could not be happier! The child lock keeps my kitties from turning on a burner with their paws (although I keep it covered so they don’t walk on it anyway.) The controls are easy to use and only having to touch the number selection for the level of heat is so much easier than sliding your finger around the numbers. The burners heat quickly and cool down faster than my previous cooktops. I am so pleased with this purchase! Now if I could just find the LG double wall oven I want to replace the current 20 yr old microwave/oven combo that is rusting away…

I absolutely love this cooktop it has so many features. The warming feature is amazing and worked great and eliminated the need for warming trays saving space for all the extra food. Then there are the double and triple burners that accommodate bigger pots or they are capable of downsizing to fit your smaller pans. I definitely would recommend this cooktop as a replacement or new addition to your kitchen.

I love the space between burners that allows multiple to be used at the same time. However, after working for approximately 6 months the unit gave out. Prior to that this was my favorite appliance in my kitchen. Definitely happy I purchased the extended protection so I could at least get a refund to buy a replacement as this exact model has been on back order.

The only small problem is that it is sometimes difficult to get turned on. My wife can get it every time but I'm not doing the touch screen right I guess.
