New cooktop entirely pitted

My new cooktop was delivered and installed yesterday (5/28/2020) and today I removed the protective plastic sheet to find the entire cooktop was covered with thousands of pits. They cannot be removed, they are integral to the Schott-Ceran ceramic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It has several burner areas but would rather have had a fifth burner instead of just a warming zone. Also the main on/off area is very sensitive to touch and has gone on w/o my realizing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been over two years since we bought our stove. There are things about this stove that I do not like, such as. When making a large kettle of tomato sauce the stove cannot handle the weight. Yes it will cook everything else but I have to always remember not to have very heavy pots! Never thought when we bought that this would be an issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've had this cooktop for a month - so far so good. Very easy to clean, I really like the fact that there are no knobs on the surface. It heats up quickly and is logocally setup. It's nice having burners that will fit the size of the pan.

After a brief learning process we find this cooktop to be easy to use and clean. We have only had it for about a month, but if it lasts several years I am sure it would rate 5 stars, until the future arrives, I can only rate it 4 stars for now.

Broke after 2 years

I bought it in Sep'19 and installed it in Oct'19. It comes with a 2 year warranty. Exactly after 2 years, in Nov'21, it is just not turning on. Waiting for the service person now.
