Unit failed after one year

Just as the warranty expired, we began having problems. The dual burner would not activate, coupled with the standard burners being intermittent as well as not recognizing touch. Then the two- pitched beeping randomly began- and the led lights blinking on all controls. Not happy- unit is unreliable. Seems to be a known problem- talked to repair facility- they said the same thing-

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m extremely satisfied with the cooktop. The all flat surface makes for quick and easy cleaning. It has a child lock that is super nice because we have little kids. The burners fluctuate with a touch of the top it’s amazing. We love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get my new cooktop. Little did I know that it has the look of small bubbles on the top. Everytime I walk into my kitchen, I feel I have to dust my cooktop. It’s not dusty but appears to have dust on it due to the bubbles in the cooktop. Very disappointed. This was not shown on line nor did it mention it in the description.
