[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We picked this out for our new house being built and selected all LG appliances because we are big fans of LG. We learned to use the cooktop without a manual and struggled through a bit of it but we figured it out eventually. It's difficult to get the large burner with the 3 rings to all light up so it's cooking on all burner rings.
Pros: Performance

We built a new house and purchased all New LG appliances thru builder and the LG Cooktop worked great for about 6 weeks (Used only around 20 times) and then stopped responding to any touch commands Tech came out and said it needs whole PCB Printed circuit board replaced and that he order a replace PCB That was a month ago. we called again and they said it's on back order and we may see it in another month? We had to buy 2 hot plates to use. (See Photo) LG should be replacing the whole unit with a new unit that has a updated PCB already init!!

Not even sure where to start. Bought this unit in November. For us to use it we have to go outside and reset the breaker because it decides when it wants to work, which is usually every other day. We've had a service tech come out and now has replaced the same exact part twice. What's crazy...LG wants to replace it for a third time. 5 service tech calls, 5 times we've had to take off early, 5 times it failed to work. Tonight they cancelled. After we waited all afternoon for them. I'm 42 years old, and have never left an online complaint before. Thought they were just oversensitive people. Well, I see where they are coming from. The absolute worst experience I've ever dealt with. Sad part is that I bought a fridge and dishwasher at the same time. Lord, there isn't enough alcohol on the planet for me to have one of those break and me deal with the LG people all over again. As of Jan 14, 2020, we still can't use our cook top and no end in sight. Easy to say no one I know will ever buy LG again. If this goes on too much longer, I'm going Office Space on this thing and will bow out to the LG giant that they are. They win...they got my money....My sanity is worth more than this $800 piece of junk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cooktop was installed about 2 weeks ago. There are no control knobs, which was intimidating at first. I looked at the brochure and tried it out. It’s very simple to use. I love it and cleanup is wonderful. Very happy with this purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought all new LG appliances for our kitchen just over 2 months ago. 5 burner cooktop is awesome. Gets hot quickly enough to boil water in a few minutes. Looks great, too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit works well. Our first one lasted over ten years before the glass top cracked. We replaced it two years ago but that unit had an internal fault and kept kicking off the circuit breaker every few weeks after a year or so and then at about two years of age it stopped working all together. The third unit is working fine but its only been a few weeks since installation. I replaced it the third time as we are moving and it was a simple drop-in in our granite countertop.
