I am so glad that I purchased this product. I will admit, I was that person that does not like to floss. The waterpik makes it alot easier and convenient.
I had a later model and when the toothbrush stopped working, Waterpik sent me this one for free. My only complaint is the high pitch sound it makes when using it. My first one did not do this. However, I am a huge fan of the product.
I've had a few different Waterpik products over the past 10+ years. My favorite was a different flosser and toothbrush combo that contained tip storage on the unit. I always felt it was more hygienic than just leaving the tips out in the open. Sadly, the battery finally quit on the toothbrush and couldn't be replaced. I immediately went to replace my unit with the same one only to find it had been discontinued. I looked through all of the units currently available and none had the storage feature I was looking for, so I switched to a different brand unit that met my criteria. Immediately I noticed differences. The flosser tips were angled differently and the flosser water stream was weaker. The toothbrush also wasn't as good. After a year and a half, I decided I needed to switch back to Waterpik regardless of whether the Waterpik had the storage feature I wanted and this is when I purchased the WP-861. I've been so happy to be reunited with Waterpik. It is far superior to the other brand I used in every way but one. In Waterpik's move to reduce the size of the units, they've taken away a very important feature to me. They could still keep the footprint the same size and add back the storage in the lid on the water reservoir. I hope someday they will bring this feature back. I would happily buy that unit immediately. I do love my Waterpik just not quite as much as if it had the storage on the base.
Been using water Pik for 20+ years . Great for dental health. Little disappointed in new one. Tooth brush attachment gets stuck, very difficult to remove. Never had that in previous machines.
