Difficult to remove brush head

The instructions tell you to remove the toothbrush head after every use. It is very difficult to remove. I had the unit replaced once, but it is still extremely difficult, so it seems to just be a design flaw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like my water pik but I have a couple of issues I am.concerned about. The toothbrush will just stop for a bit in the middle of brushing - it does it at least once each time I brush but usually twice. The water pik itself sometimes leaks water out of the cord area, even when I secure it all correctly. I wonder if that is because of where the release button is. It's still new to me and I definitely see a difference in the look and feel of my teeth and gums.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The toothbrush features a built-in timer that pauses momentarily every 30 seconds to signal it's time to switch to a different section of your mouth. This is completely normal. This newer version is ok, the toothbrush does not have the variable speed as the older model and is not as strong, the water pic tub is smaller by a couple of ounces, and sometimes you have to add water to complete what you are doing because it runs out of water. The pressure at full load is also not as strong. This is my second replacement, the first replacement did not even last a year so I continue to use the original, I hope this one last as long as my original, (the pump quit) which was 8 years so (toothbrush still works) I bought this new one. But it will work until I find something comparable.

This is my second one in ten years! Old one wasn’t totally shot, just had problems with the switch on the toothbrush. However, did such a great job foe me, I treated myself to a new one!
