Charging and Replacement Issue

I love this combo unit. Problem is the Sonic Toothbrush will no longer charge, so while the flosser is perfectly usable the toothbrush no long functions and Waterpik does not sell rechargeable batteries or Sonic Toothbrushes separately. What am I supposed to do? Dump the whole thing and start again? What's the use of purchasing a combination unit if one half of it cannot be replace or recharged?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The combined water flosser and touth brush is a great space saving feature.
I currently use a WP-100 water flosser and the unit on the 861W works just as well.
I also have two other electronic brushes. The 861W touch brush is lighter and less "traumatic'. The 861W brush seems to clean just as well as my other two units. I would like to see an extended brushing mode on the 861W (ie 45 sec per quadrant) or a mode which did not stop automatically. I like to brush longer than 2 minutes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So Many Wonderful Features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a sonic toothbrush before, but I have to say, I like that it cleaned gently but thoroughly. The toothbrush has three options for more effective results and I tried each one. I can see why there are different modes, because they really did seem like they were addressing different areas of tooth and gum care. I really like that the water control for the Waterpik is on the handle, so it is easy to control as you are turning it on and off. This unit is a great space saver also! The only change I would make is I add a small storage area on the unit for the toothbrushes and tips.

I love my new Waterpik!! It is the best thing that has happened to my teeth / BREATH ... EVER! My mouth just tastes so fresh and clean. Im not worried at all about speaking close to someone.

At first use of the water pic feature I had it set too high, it annoyed my gums. Then I set it lower and began to slowly increase the water pressure. My gums feel as though I went through a full gum/teeth cleaning without the pain or cost.

I REALLY LIKE THE FLOSS, BUT THE BRUSH IS NOT AS GOOD AS OTHER BRAND. WHEN I AM SPENDING THAT MUCH MONEY I PREFER TO HAVE A GOOD BRUSH NOT ONLY A GOOD FLOSS.
