I asked for this for Christmas as my previous Waterpik was leaking in several areas. I love the design and the on/off switches on the unit and on the handle itself. The toothbrush is amazing for cleaning, but I've never been a fan of the automatic timers (I brush for longer than 2 minutes, so it can get annoying turning it back on every time it shuts itself off.) The reservoir is adequate, but I wish it held just a bit more water as I use it not only on the gum line, but in-between teeth. I have it set at 8 and have to rush a little so it doesn't run out. I only have the unit charging when I'm actually using the water flosser, but have never had the toothbrush come even close to running out of juice. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for an electric brush and water flosser. I know I won't go back to manually flossing because my dental hygienists have told me my gums have improved since using my Waterpik and I used to manually floss every night.
You think your teeth are clean after you brush them. I thought so as well. What I didn't know is when you use the water pic after brushing it really flushes out a lot of extra debris. Thank you Water Pic, I absolutely love your product and would highly recommend it.
I've been very satisfied with the oral-b I've had for years & looked forward to this all-in-one Waterpik product. Unfortunately the brush head is sooooo soft that all the special functions seemed meaningless. I returned it and happily back to using my separate oral-b & waterpik appliances.
I bought this a month ago and I feel I have the best equipment to clean my teeth and gums! It’s Great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Defective battery

I purchased the WP-861 5 weeks ago, the chargeable battery does not hold a charge, it looks to be a systemic problem, I should have checked it out, it's a lot if money to find out there's been an ongoing problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
