Bought this about a month ago after my 8 year old water pik died. This model offered everything I had before and took up less space. I love how it pauses so you change positions in your mouth. What I don't like is there is no place to hang your toothbrush, tongue scraper and flosser that you use everyday. I kept the container for these items from my old water pik and use that but it takes up counter space. THIS IS A BIG FLAW DO YOU JUST LEAVE THEM ON THE COUNTER. THE TRAVEL CASE IS A NO BECAUSE THE ITEMS NEED TO AIR DRY not stay wet in a travel case and develop mold
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clean teeth but a little painful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the waterpik and I was super excited because I’m all about oral health and avoiding cavities. Even though I regularly brush with an electric toothbrush, floss daily and generally have a good pain threshold I found the waterpik to be painful the first several times I used it. I definitely feel like my teeth and gums were cleaner using the products but ouch! It took me over a week to acclimate to the feeling and I think my gums toughened up a bit in the process. I really like the waterpik and will continue to use but beware the first few times you use it!

Can't remove toothbrush from holder. Called customer service and she said it would come off but could be hard at first. It took 2 screwdrivers to pry off toothbrush off. Still can't attach toothbrush to holder correctly and get to remove it without prying it off.

We recommend to remove the brush head from the handle and rinse brush head under running water after each use to prevent toothpaste buildup. This model comes with a two-year warranty. Love the brush at the end of the pic. Toothbrush charger convenient. Issue: pic doesn’t stay in holder. Recommend new design on that. Otherwise love it .

Rather than face a periodontist a number of years ago, my dentist suggested Waterpik. I am now on my second unit. I need say no more. Waterpik has become such an essential part of my daily oral health routine that it goes on vacation and business trips with me. Both the flosser and brush components really get the job done. They are so good, I nicknamed them the “Splash Brothers.”

If you have braces, this product is a MUST. However, I recommend using the pointed tip instead of the orthodontic tip, reason being is that it gets more of the ickiness much better. I’m very happy with it!!
